    Electron beam gun power sources

    An electron beam gun power source include high voltage electron beam acceleration unit and two heating circuits control units.

    The power source defines the total power of the electron beam gun apparatus. The total output power of the power source can be customized. The serial power supplies are 25, 60, 120, 210, and 630 kW in power.

    A control unit of a heating circuit is a single module which is universal for all electron beam gun power range. This module includes controllable current source for direct and electron heating of the emitting cathode. The power control accuracy is 3%.

    The electron beam gun power source is a separate module and it can be installed either in a hardware bay or on the vacuum unit thus increasing functionality and usability. This also can decrease the length of the high voltage cable.

    The electron beam power supply consists of several separate modules. These modules are: a control panel, a heat circuit control unit, and a power box are the same for power supplies of any power par value, a thyristor converter and rectifier transformer are customized according to the desired power.
